About the Program

Do you live in Kosciusko County and need help paying for child care?

Brightpoint and LaunchPad of Kosciusko County have partnered together to provide a unique opportunity for childcare assistance to parents/guardians who reside in Kosciusko County. Families may be selected for this scholarship if household income falls under 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines and parents/guardians are working, attending school, or actively participating in job training. Families must also meet one or more the additional guidelines below:

  • Have an infant
  • Have a child enrolled in On My Way Pre-K program and need care for their additional children
  • Teen parents still enrolled in High School needing child care so they can work and/or go to school
  • On the Child Care Development Fund waiting list

The scholarship may be used at any Registered Ministry, Licensed Home or Child Care Center, and Licensed Exempt School that meet the minimum eligibility standards.

Counties Served

Must live in Kosciusko County, but provider can be in another county.

Eligibility

  • Parents or guardians in the household must be working, completing a job search, or going to school
  • Income at or below 200% of the federal poverty guideline based on the last 30 days of income
  • Must meet one or more of the following: have an infant; have a child enrolled in On My Way Pre-K program and need care for their additional children; teen parents still enrolled in high school needing child care, so they can work and/or go to school; or on the Child Care Development Fund waiting list
