Brightpoint Receives Grant for Focus Forward Program
Fort Wayne, IN – Brightpoint has been awarded a grant of $18,750 from The Comcast Foundation for its Focus Forward program, which is designed to help young adults overcome educational and occupational barriers through intensive case management.
The grant will be used to support participants career readiness through career assessment, personalized employment plans, online Workforce Development training, and monthly workshops. Participants will also receive one-on-one financial foundations training through Brightpoint Development Fund. Laptops provided by Brightpoint will be available for participants to earn through engaging in activities that align with their employment plan.
Brightpoint is a private, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving over 30,000 people across northeast Indiana each year. Through a wide range of programs, Brightpoint helps communities, families, and individuals remove the causes and conditions of poverty.
