About the Program

If you need help paying for child care, we are here for you!

Brightpoint is here to help you afford high-quality child care or preschool through one of our subsidized voucher programs. Many Indiana families are unable to access high-quality child care because it is too expensive. The Child Care Assistance program provides families the opportunity to work, go to school, or attend job training knowing their children are in a safe child care program or preschool. These programs work by providing vouchers to private care providers. Families are required to pay a portion of the cost and may choose from a wide list of licensed child care providers and accredited preschool programs.

Brightpoint’s Child Care Assistance program makes child care affordable by connecting families to vouchers. Some of the programs Brightpoint may help you enroll in:

Child Care Development Fund (CCDF)

The Child Care Development Fund (CCDF) program is a federal program that helps low-income families obtain child care so that they may work, attend training or continue their education. The purpose of CCDF is to increase the availability, affordability, and quality of child care. Learn more about CCDF in Indiana below.

On My Way Pre-K (OMWPK)

On My Way Pre-K is an Indiana program that awards vouchers to 4-year-olds from low-income families so they may have access to a high-quality pre-K program the year before they begin kindergarten. Families who are approved may use their voucher at any approved On My Way Pre-K program. More in depth information can be found on the state website below.
