Brightpoint knows that finding and applying for health coverage can be difficult. During the pandemic and afterwards, everyone deserves access to healthcare. Currently, over 114,000 people in northeast Indiana are not enrolled in health insurance. If all 114,000 were enrolled, insurance rates would drop for everyone and an estimated $734 million dollars would be added to our local economy in insurance payments to physicians, hospitals, and other medical professionals.
Covering Kids and Families of Brightpoint has certified healthcare Navigators who help consumers review their options and guide them through the enrollment process. Brightpoint is the lead agency for Covering Kids and Families in 11 counties in northeast Indiana. Those needing assistance with health insurance coverage are encouraged to visit Brightpoint’s website, www.mybrightpoint.org/ckf or call (800) 589-3506 to inquire about options for receiving help.
