CKF of Brightpoint Receives Funding to Help Hoosiers Get Healthcare Coverage
Fort Wayne, IN – During the third quarter of 2020, Brightpoint received funding to support its Covering Kids and Families (CKF) program. CKF improves access to healthcare through community-based outreach and enrollment assistance in state and federally sponsored health coverage programs. All local donations received were matched by Covering Kids and Families of Indiana generating $84,000 in additional support.
Third Quarter Support for CKF of Brightpoint
- K21 Health Foundation – $20,000
- English-Bonter-Mitchell Foundation – $15,000
- Kosciusko County Community Foundation – $6,000
- 3 Rivers Credit Union Foundation – $5,000
- Community Foundation of Whitley County – $5,000
- Wells County Community Foundation – $5,000
These funds will allow Brightpoint to provide assistance at no cost to families in Northeast Indiana.
“Healthcare insurance can be confusing for consumers,” says Amanda Chappell, program manager of Covering Kids and Families of Brightpoint. “We want Hoosiers to know that free, unbiased assistance is available to help them make the best choice. They don’t have to go it alone.”
