Brightpoint Hosts Free Workshop: Exploring Market Feasibility

The Brightpoint Development Fund will present a free workshop called Opportunity Analysis I: Exploring Market Feasibility. The workshop will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at The Summit, 1027 W. Rudisill Blvd., Fort Wayne, IN 46805 from 6-8pm with networking to follow.
Existing business owners who are considering launching new products or services and individuals considering starting a new business are encouraged to attend. The workshop will cover how to explore the viability of an idea using a simple feasibility framework. Those in attendance will learn how to:
• Identify the best opportunity of those you are considering or find other opportunities;
• Define the product and its uniqueness in the way the market needs to understand it;
• Research the target market(s);
• Conduct a competitive analysis;
• Estimate the risks, investment, profitability and break-even required.
Dr. Staci Lugar Brettin, Assistant Professor of Marketing and Management at Indiana Tech, will facilitate this workshop. She teaches courses in management, leadership, marketing, and entrepreneurship. She holds a Doctor of Business Administration from Anderson University, a Master of Business Administration from Bethel College, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Business from Ball State University. She has published several articles on entrepreneurship in the Business Education Innovation Journal.
