Brightpoint Updates due to COVID-19

Updated 4-7-20 – Brightpoint has adjusted its operations in response to guidance from federal, state and local officials regarding Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19.) All Brightpoint offices and Head Start sites are closed to the public until further notice. Future updates will be posted here on mybrightpoint.org.

During this time of closure, Brightpoint is continuing to conduct programs and provide services remotely. Brightpoint Head Start staff are providing virtual learning opportunities for children and staying connected to families. There are options for applying for assistance for many Brightpoint programs through the website, mybrightpoint.org. Staff are available by phone, 260-423-3546 or 800-589-3506 and email, gethelp@mybrightpoint.org, Monday – Thursday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm; Friday, 8:00 am – 12:00 pm. Individuals who are homeless and seeking housing through Coordinated Entry should call 260-423-3546, ext. 332 and leave a message.

The Brightpoint Development Fund (BDF) is also available to serve our community remotely. BDF staff are working to help small businesses with express loans and other resources in response to the hardships that many businesses are facing. More information about these services is available at mybdf.org.

Those who need additional assistance are advised to call 2-1-1 or their local township trustee. As funding becomes available to provide additional assistance, Brightpoint will be responding as quickly as possible to make this assistance available to the communities we serve.

“Brightpoint is committed to helping communities, families, and individuals, now more than ever,” said Brightpoint President & CEO Steve Hoffman. “We will continue to help in every way we can during this crisis and beyond.”
