Brightpoint unGolf Raising Funds for COVID-19 Relief

Fort Wayne, IN – At the beginning of June, Brightpoint normally holds its golf outing fundraiser. This year’s event, originally scheduled for Thursday, June 4, was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead, the organization is asking for sponsorships and donations as part of Brightpoint unGolf 2020 to support their COVID-19 relief efforts.

During the pandemic, Brightpoint has continued to provide services. Now, Brightpoint has created a COVID Outcomes Financial Assistance (COFA) fund to assist individuals and families with the extraordinary needs brought about by this crisis. For businesses, there is a COVID-19 Express Loan.

For those who would like to support these relief efforts, Brightpoint is asking for sponsorships and donations. Doc Dancer, Inc. and Keller Development have already committed to being Corporate Sponsors for Brightpoint unGolf 2020.

While donations will be accepted anytime, the agency is setting aside Thursday, June 4 to raise awareness of the needs in our community and to celebrate those who are unGolfing FORE! a brighter future. Sponsorship and donation levels with corresponding benefits are listed on the website, www.mybrightpoint.org/ungolf. Gifts of any amount will be used to support those who are suffering economic hardships during this difficult time.
