Brightpoint’s Wabash County Community Baby Shower Assists New Moms

Wabash, IN – On Tuesday, October 15, Brightpoint hosted the Wabash County Community Baby Shower at Parkview Wabash Hospital. At this baby shower, pregnant and new moms with children under 1 year old were invited to celebrate their growing families and learn about community resources available in Wabash.

At the event, 3 pregnant women, 6 news moms and 7 supportive adults received resource information from 14 agencies that work with pregnant and new moms. The shower included food for the attendees, a gift bag for all pre-registered moms, and grand prize giveaways. Brightpoint is currently planning community baby showers every 2 years, with the next Wabash shower being in 2021. The 2020 shower will be held in Huntington County.

These free community baby showers are made possible by the generous support of Covering Kids and Families of Indiana, Inc., Parkview Wabash, Anthem, CareSource, Managed Health Services (MHS), MDwise, and Covering Kids and Families of Brightpoint.
