Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne Awards $29,000 Grant to Brightpoint to fund Covering Kids and Families Program
Fort Wayne, IN – Brightpoint has been awarded a grant in the amount of $29,000 by the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne. These funds will be used for the Covering Kids and Families of Northeast Indiana (CKF-NEIN) program.
The Community Foundation grant will be used to assist families and individuals with enrolling in health insurance programs. “CKF-NEIN strives to eliminate the barriers that families face with enrolling in, utilizing, and maintaining health coverage. The grant from the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne will allow CKF-NEIN to continue to remove one of the causes and conditions of poverty by helping Allen County residents to obtain health insurance and quality health care services” stated Amanda Chappell, local director of CKF-NEIN and Program Manager at Brightpoint.
