Here at Brightpoint we are excited to offer the class Principles of Starting a Business. This class is aimed at aspiring entrepreneurs who are in any phase of starting up their business. This upcoming workshop, Principles of Starting a Business, looks at the real challenges and potential pitfalls new business owners frequently face. If you have just recently started your business, not started but well on your way or just have an idea for a business, this class will offer very useful information for you. If you attend you can expect to learn more about different legal structures, budgeting, financing options, building a client base, and business feasibility studies. Taught by Leslie Alford of Full Scope Consulting, the class allows you to learn from a local expert in the field of emerging businesses. Prior to starting Full Scope Consulting, Alford was the director of the Women’s Enterprise program, here in Fort Wayne, for six years. During that time she and her staff counseled and mentored nearly 3,500 potential business owners.
