PHP Foundation Grant for Brightpoint’s Covering Kids and Families

Fort Wayne, IN – Brightpoint has received a $5,000 grant from Physicians Health Plan Foundation to support the Covering Kids and Families (CKF) program. CKF works to improve access to healthcare through community- based outreach and enrollment assistance in state and federally sponsored health coverage programs. This grant is being matched with $7,500 in funds from CKF Indiana for a total of $12,500 in support for enrollment, outreach, and health literacy activities.

Brightpoint knows that finding and applying for health coverage can be difficult. Covering Kids and Families of Brightpoint has licensed healthcare Navigators who help consumers review their options and guide them through the enrollment process. This grant from PHP Foundation, along with the matching funds from CKF-IN, will allow Brightpoint to provide this service at no cost to more families in Northeast Indiana.
